	More Event Details Details: The Choir of All Saints Parish joins a period instrument ensemble under the direction of Dr. Stephan Griffin to perform Buxtehude's 1680 cycle of seven cantatas, each addressing a part of Christ's crucified body. The sixth cantata, Ad Cor, features a consort of viols whose warm, resonant timbre is employed to address the heart. The cantatas are interspersed with readings and instrumental selections from Schein's Banchetto Musicale. Tickets available online and at the door. This fundraising concert supports the restoration of Skinner Organ Company opus 435 (1923), recently acquired from Grant Memorial AME Church in Chicago to replace the parish's aging 1961 Casavant organ. Proceeds will be directed to the Donald Teeters Memorial Music Fund, honoring All Saints' beloved music director of 47 years.
