St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Marblehead will host its annual patronal feast on Sunday, September 28 at a Michaelmas Evensong at 5:00 in the evening. Evensong will be preceded by a recital-prelude at 4:30 by Christopher Wells featuring Craig Phillips’ Archangel Suite. This is to be Mr. Wells’ first Boston area recital since relocating to Massachusetts in 2023. The choir will sing Stanford’s Evening Service in B flat, all will join in C.H.H. Parry’s cherished hymn tune - Rustington. All are welcome! St. Michael’s is situated in the historic downtown of Marblehead at 26 Pleasant Street.
