All Night Vigil The Seraphim Singers and Renaissance Men In collaboration with The Icon Museum in Clinton MA Eric Christopher Perry, Interim Music Director Saturday, March 07 at 8 PM, in person Holy Name Parish 1689 Centre Street, West Roxbury Parking in the school lot across the street (525 West Roxbury Parkway) and on street. Sunday, March 08 at 3 PM, in person and streamed First Church in Cambridge 11 Garden Street, Cambridge Parking in Harvard Square area garages and on street. Note that resident parking only signage on neighborhood streets is not in effect on Sundays. In light of the continuing tragedy that is the current conflict in Ukraine, Seraphim and Renaissance Men, New England’s professional male vocal chamber ensemble, will unite to make a joint call for peace with a bold, new presentation of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vigil, Op. 47. Powerful interpolations of Russian, Ukrainian, and other regional folk songs will bring into dialogue distinct musical legacies. With songs of joy, love, and salvation, we’ll cry for an end to violence in Ukraine and throughout the world with one strong voice. The Icon Museum, located in Clinton, Massachusetts, will host an exhibit of about a dozen icons from their collection before and after each concert.
