Join us for our 150th Anniversary Memorial Concert, "Come, Holy Spirit, Our Souls Inspire," a concert of healing and hope, to remember those who have died in the past year, to honor caregivers who serve us, and to enter into God's abiding presence. Jeremy S. Bruns, Associate Organist and Choirmaster at the Church of the Advent in Boston, will present a varied program on our Hook and Hastings Organ, Opus 937 (1879) featuring French and German organists/composers, as well as works by the great master Johann Sebastian Bach. Several choral preludes on Gregorian Chant themes by Jeanne Marie-Madeleine Demessieux (1921-1968) will be played, including a setting of the Pentecost chant Veni Creator Spiritus.
