Details: Program features Magnificat du premier ton - Guislain, Concerto in F, Op 4, no.4, G.F. Handel arr. by W. T. Best, The Black River - (text from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne) - Gavin Bryars, and Sonata in G, Op. 28 - Sir Edward Elgar. Maggie Finnegan is recent winner of the Washington International Competition for Voice and made her Kennedy Center debut this year. James Busby is in his 24th season as Organist and Choirmaster at S. Stephens where he plays the Robert Hale Ives Goddard Memorial Organ.
